Long Branch & Asbury Park — the shore end

A shore SEO company
that plans for the off-season.

Local SEO, web design, and marketing for two oceanfront cities. Our office is at 1151 Broad Street in Shrewsbury, up the road. Long Branch and Asbury Park both crashed after the resort era and both came back — as different animals. What they share is a calendar that makes or breaks a business, and most marketing here ignores it.

What's actually broken

Why shore businesses lose money in both directions

Asbury Park is small and dense with a walkable downtown on Cookman and a music identity that draws people year-round; Long Branch is bigger, spread along the coast, anchored by Pier Village. Both live and die by a season. Six leaks, and the first one is the expensive one.

Leak 01

A flat budget on a seasonal business

Spending the same in February as in July overspends when nobody is coming and underspends when everybody is. The calendar is the single biggest lever a shore business has, and almost nobody pulls it.

Leak 02

Booked solid in August, invisible in March

A packed summer hides that you have no year-round discovery. The off-season is when search matters most — and when your competitors quietly build the rankings that beat you next June.

Leak 03

The visitor who decides before they arrive

Somebody driving to the boardwalk chose where to eat before they parked. Stale hours, thin photos or a slow site lost that customer forty minutes up the Parkway, and you will never know they existed.

Leak 04

Locals and visitors are two markets

A year-round resident and a summer visitor search differently, buy differently and value different things. One message aimed at both usually lands with neither.

Leak 05

Events that spike traffic you cannot catch

Festivals, the music calendar and event weekends put enormous traffic in front of you. Without capture and follow-up that spike is a one-night stand, not a customer list.

Leak 06

Reviews left to chance

On a boardwalk with twenty alternatives inside a walk, reviews are frequently the entire decision — and they decide what an AI assistant recommends to a visitor who has never been here. Hoping is not a system.

What we install

The machine, built around a season

A shore business does not need more marketing — it needs marketing that knows what month it is. Build the calendar in and the same budget does noticeably more work.

  • Local SEO and the map packProfile, pages, citations and review engine built to own your category year-round — and to be the name an AI assistant gives a visitor planning a weekend.
  • Web design that capturesFast, mobile-first, wired to a CRM — because the decision is being made on a phone in a car on the Parkway, not at a desk.
  • Ads weighted to the calendarSpend that rises and falls with your actual season instead of sitting flat across a year that is not flat, reported as cost per closed sale.
  • The follow-up floorSpeed-to-lead wiring and a written cadence — and a list built from the summer that you can actually talk to in January.

Why a shore business should listen to us

We are up the road, not out of state. Our office is at 1151 Broad Street, Shrewsbury — Route 35, inland from both cities.

Mike learned to sell as a stockbroker and has been drilling salespeople ever since, including a 17-year-old named Tino. Together they built FreedInsure from a $227 first month of commission into a two-person operation producing $1.3M a year with three-quarters of the book renewing — receipts public: 4.9 stars across 519 Google reviews. That business has its own brutal season — open enrollment — which is exactly why the calendar argument on this page is not theoretical for us. Meet us on the About page.

The playbook is not a secret. Start with these — they are free, and they are most of what a first consult would tell you.

Questions shore owners ask us

The one that can show the chain from rankings to closed revenue in writing, with timestamps. Run it on anyone, us included — and ask how they would change your spend between February and July. If the answer is "we would not", they do not understand a shore business.
That is when it matters most. Rankings take months, so the visibility you want in July is built in February — and the off-season is when your competitors are quietly building theirs. The spend should drop; the work should not stop.
No. Our office is at 1151 Broad Street, Suite 301, Shrewsbury, inland on Route 35. We would rather tell you that than have you find it in the footer.
The seasonality is the difference, and it changes almost everything: what you spend and when, how much a summer email list is worth, how hard the off-season menu has to work. The general restaurant playbook is on the restaurant SEO page.
