SEO & AEO for aesthetics

Med spa SEO in Brooklyn & Long Island
for practices done renting the algorithm.

Instagram shows your work. Search sells it. We're two operators who founded an agency in February 2023 with zero startup capital — $227 in first-month commission, grown to $1.3M a year in revenue, with roughly three-quarters of clients renewing on a lead engine we built ourselves. That machine — owned demand, fast follow-up, retention — is what we install for medical spas, plastic surgeons, and dermatology practices in Brooklyn and across Long Island.

What's actually broken

Why booked-solid med spas still lose the search

The work is good. The feed is pretty. The pipeline still leaks. Six places we see it drain.

Leak 01

Your whole pipeline rents a feed

Instagram built your brand. It also owns it. Reach is rented from an algorithm that reprices overnight, and followers aren't bookings. Meanwhile "botox near me" gets typed in your zip code every day — and lands on whoever built pages for it. Post to the feed. Own the search.

Leak 02

Chains and coupons own your treatments

Search "coolsculpting cost" and count the chains, marketplaces, and deal sites before an independent practice appears. The Groupon route makes it worse: discount a medical service and you train the market to shop price. Deal buyers churn; full-price clients wonder why the number moved. The winnable ground is treatment-plus-place pages. Most spas never build one.

Leak 03

Proof that Google can't see

Your before-and-afters are the strongest evidence in the industry — and they live in camera rolls and expired stories. No page, no structure, and too often no written consent trail. A consent-compliant gallery, structured on treatment pages, does two jobs at once: it ranks and it closes.

Leak 04

The no-show leak

A consult request answered in minutes shows up. One answered tomorrow keeps shopping. And without reminders, the booked ones ghost too. Speed and cadence are wiring, not willpower. The math after the walk-in is the same story: close 30% of consults instead of 20% and revenue rises 50% on identical lead flow.

Leak 05

AI answers. You're not in them.

Ask an AI assistant "is Botox safe" or "how much is lip filler." It answers thoroughly — and names nobody local. Treatment research is moving there, and structured answer content decides which practices get named. Right now almost no med spa does the work.

Leak 06

Every visit sold from zero

Aesthetics is a repeat-purchase business — tox wears off on a schedule, skin work runs in series — yet most spas re-win every client, every visit. No membership, no cadence, no recurring revenue. We built our whole company on renewals: roughly three-quarters of our book renews. That's what makes a book an asset instead of a paycheck.

What we install

The engine we run on our own book

We didn't learn this from a marketing blog. We built our own lead engine — and bought vendor leads for years before that, so we know both sides of the math. The treatments differ; the search behavior doesn't. The same build fits a medical spa, a plastic surgeon, or a dermatology practice, and clinics under full medical direction should also read the medical SEO page.

  • Treatment page architectureA page for every treatment in every location you serve — injectables, laser, skin, body — written clinically, with no outcome overclaims. The "cost, candidacy, downtime" long tail lands on you instead of a chain.
  • Local SEO and the review engineA Google Business Profile built to win "med spa near me" and the map pack, plus a review ask wired to the happy moment — every time, automatically. It's how clients of our own agency left 519 Google reviews at 4.9 stars.
  • AEO: structured answers for treatment questionsSafety, cost, downtime, candidacy — asked in plain English to Google and to AI assistants. We write and mark up the answers so the machine names your practice instead of a generic explainer.
  • Booking, reminders, and membership cadenceA consult request answered in minutes, reminded until it shows, and a membership cadence that turns the first visit into a schedule. Capture to retained client, wired end to end.

We're not guessing. We're the case study.

Two people. February 2023. Zero startup capital. First month of commission: $227. The book grew to $1.3M a year with roughly three-quarters of the book renewing — fed by a lead engine we built ourselves after years of both generating and buying leads for our own floor. Clients left the verdict in public: 4.9 stars across 519 Google reviews.

Mike has sold for 30 years — ex-stockbroker, founded Puf Cigarettes on Staten Island, and Tino's trainer since Tino was 17. Tino has sold since 17, entered the industry at 20, founded the company at 22, and holds licenses in 42 jurisdictions. Aesthetics adds its own rules — clinical accuracy, patient consent, medical direction — and we build inside them. The machine underneath is the same one we run ourselves. See the clinical side on the medical SEO page, or walk the entire build in the FreedInsure case study.

Questions med spa owners ask us

Med spa SEO is the work of making your practice the answer when someone searches — or asks an AI — about a treatment. In practice it includes a page for every treatment you offer in every location you serve, written clinically and without outcome overclaims; Google Business Profile and map-pack optimization for 'med spa near me' and treatment-plus-city searches; a review engine that asks every happy client at the right moment; consent-compliant before-and-after galleries structured so search engines can read them; structured answer content so AI assistants name your practice instead of a generic explainer; and booking wired for minutes-fast response and automatic reminders. Rankings that don't end in consults on the calendar don't count.
We don't quote a package before reading your numbers. The free revenue diagnosis comes first: your search visibility, your competitors, your booking flow, and your retention math. Then the engagement is scoped to what's actually broken and priced against the expected return — what a fixed pipeline is worth in consults, treatments, and repeat visits. You see the price and the math in writing before a dollar moves. The honest metric isn't cost per click or cost per lead; it's cost per closed customer — and in aesthetics, cost per retained one.
Both — they do different jobs. Instagram is rented attention: it builds desire and shows your work, but the algorithm owns your reach and can reprice it overnight. Search is owned intent: someone typing 'lip filler cost' or 'med spa near me' has already decided to spend — the only open question is where. A practice that runs only Instagram is renting its entire pipeline from a platform it doesn't control. Keep posting; the feed warms the audience. But build the search asset, because that's the one that keeps producing when the algorithm changes its mind.
No — and they don't need to. Pages that promise outcomes invite regulatory trouble and read like ads. The treatment pages that rank and convert describe the treatment clinically: what it is, who is and isn't a candidate, what a session involves, downtime, and honest cost ranges — with before-and-after photos used only under written patient consent. Clinical accuracy is not a handicap. It's exactly what search engines and AI assistants reward, because it matches what people actually type when they research a treatment.
Because the second visit is where the business is. Aesthetics is a repeat-purchase category — neurotoxin wears off on a schedule, skin treatments run in series — yet most spas sell every visit from zero. A membership converts that natural cadence into recurring revenue and a client who stops shopping around. We built our own company on the same thesis: renewals over one-time sales. Roughly three-quarters of our book renewing is what turned it into an asset reached $1.3M a year instead of a paycheck. Marketing that only buys the first visit is buying the most expensive visit.
