The scorecard — receipts, live

Watch us rank.
Every month. Wins and misses. In public.

Every SEO company says the same thing: trust us. We're doing something different. This page is our own scorecard — every keyword we're chasing, listed before we started, with positions posted monthly and the misses left in. The same discipline we hold clients to, pointed at ourselves.

Baseline: zero · documented July 2026 · posted monthly · misses stay published

The pledge

The rules of this page, written before the game started

A scoreboard only counts if the rules were set before kickoff. Here are ours.

  • Every tracked keyword listed before we startedThe target list below went public before a single page ranked. No adding winners to the list after the fact.
  • Numbers posted monthly, uneditedWhat the tool reports is what gets published. No rounding up, no favorable date ranges, no cropped screenshots.
  • Misses stay publishedA keyword that drops, stalls, or never ranks stays in the table. The log notes what we changed in response.
  • Methodology statedWhere the numbers come from, which database, how often, and what happens to retired keywords — written out below, in full.
The baseline

The honest zero

July 2026, pre-launch: a Semrush lookup for confidentconnect.com returns nothing. Zero authority. Zero ranking keywords. Zero organic traffic. That's from Semrush data we pulled in July 2026, before the site went live.

Most companies would bury that. We documented it on purpose. A before-and-after only means something if the before is on the record — so every number that appears on this page after launch is measured against a zero you watched us write down.

No inherited domain, no purchased backlinks, no head start. Whatever this domain ranks for, it ranked for in public, from nothing.

The log

Every month gets an entry. This is the first.

One entry per month, wins and misses both. Nothing edited after posting.

Entry 0 — July 2026

The baseline. Zero across the board.

Pre-launch, a Semrush lookup for confidentconnect.com returns nothing. Zero authority, zero ranking keywords, zero organic traffic — from Semrush data we pulled in July 2026, before the site went live.

The fourteen target keywords above were written down this month, before any of them could rank. The keyword set is now frozen. From here, every entry reports positions against this zero — unedited, misses included.

Next entry: the month after launch. Then monthly. Forever.
Methodology

How the numbers get made

A scoreboard is only as honest as its measurement rules. Here's exactly how this one works — the same standard we'd demand from any vendor showing us a chart.

  • One tool, one databasePositions are what Semrush's US database reports for confidentconnect.com. We don't switch tools when one flatters us.
  • Checked monthlySame cadence every month, posted as reported. No waiting for a good week to take the reading.
  • Keyword set frozen at launchThe fourteen keywords above are the list. Any keyword added later gets its own dated baseline entry — it doesn't inherit this one.
  • No cherry-pickingRetired keywords stay in the table, marked retired. Nothing gets deleted to clean up the record.

Why we do this

If we can't rank ourselves, why would you pay us to rank you?

That question should terrify most SEO companies. We built a page around it. Search results are public. Anyone can look up any agency's own rankings with one free lookup — and the industry is counting on you not doing it. We'd rather hand you the lookup, pre-run, updated monthly, with the losses left in.

The scoreboard discipline is the product. Listing targets before the work starts, posting numbers you can't edit, keeping the misses on the wall — that's exactly what we install for clients in local SEO engagements: named keywords, dated baselines, monthly numbers, no theater. This page is us taking our own medicine, in public, from a documented zero.

We've run against a scoreboard before. Our agency, FreedInsure, started at $227 in first-month commission and grew into a book averaging $1.3M a year with three-quarters of the book renewing — every stage of it tracked, and the whole build written up in the FreedInsure case study. This page is the same habit, applied to a new domain. Watch it work, or watch us miss. Either way, you're watching the real thing.

Questions about the scorecard

Because every SEO company asks for trust and almost none show receipts. Rankings are public information — anyone with a tool can check ours — so hiding them only works on people who don't look. We'd rather do the looking for you. The scorecard tracks our own domain with the same discipline we apply to client domains: keywords listed before the work started, positions posted monthly, misses left in the table. If the numbers climb, that's the sales pitch. If they don't, you found out for free, before a dollar moved. Either way, you learned something true about how we operate.
It stays published. A dropped position stays in the table, and the monthly log entry states what we think went wrong and what we changed in response — the miss and the fix, side by side. Nothing gets deleted, reworded, or quietly retired to make the record look better. That is the entire point of writing the keyword list down before we started: a scoreboard you can edit after the game isn't a scoreboard. The baseline was zero and it's documented, so every move — up or down — is on the record.
One tool, one database, one cadence. Positions come from Semrush's US database for confidentconnect.com, checked monthly, posted unedited. The baseline was documented from Semrush data we pulled in July 2026, before launch: zero authority, zero ranking keywords, zero organic traffic. The keyword set was frozen at launch — any keyword added later gets its own dated baseline, and retired keywords stay in the table marked retired. No switching tools when one flatters us, no cherry-picking dates, no screenshots without context.
